Justin Springer
Justin is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing new investments, leading Sara Capital's operational improvement efforts.
​
He has over a decade of experience consulting with industrial and manufacturing firms in the Midwest, focusing on improving sales, service, and operations. He was most recently a Senior Manager at Ecolab helping Food, Beverage, and Manufacturing customers identify and execute projects.
​
Justin earned an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BS in Biomedical Engineering while playing football at Michigan Technological University

Sam Schwartz
Sam is involved in all aspects of the investment process including: sourcing, structuring, financing, and the execution of post closing growth initiatives.
Prior to Sara Capital Partners, Sam worked at Goldman Sachs and H.I.G. Capital. Sam earned an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Business and Economics while playing basketball at North Park University.

Jason Kornetzke
Jason supports the firm’s investment process, portfolio company operations, and strategic growth initiatives.
​
He brings a blend of financial and operational experience, with over a decade spent advising private equity and corporate clients and leading teams inside high-growth businesses. Jason began his career at Ernst & Young, working on M&A diligence and financial consulting. Most recently, Jason was the Senior Director of Sales Operations at a $250M solar energy company, where he helped scale the business during a period of sustained rapid growth.

Jason earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and both undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He previously held his CPA license.

Eric Schwartz
Eric is the founder and CEO of Sara Investment Real Estate. Prior to founding Sara Investment in 1997, he spent nearly 20 years in the restaurant industry, including opening multiple restaurants of his own. He has the trust of over 300 tenants and along with our investment committee has completed over 200 private business and real estate deals.
